Geodata Trade

A resource for oil companies, which ensures that all data owners get the best possible benefit from the exchanges/purchases they take part in.

The goal of Geodata Trade is to ensure the best possible flow of data between all oil companies on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, through centralized administration of the data exchange process.

The agreement on the use of an exchange operator is defined in the cooperation agreement (JOA), article 26.

The Norwegian Oil Companies' Scout Group (NOSG)

The aim of NOSG is to exchange information on geodata in order to streamline the data exchange between the companies and to carry out specific projects within this area of cooperation. NOSG is open to participation for oil companies that are members of Offshore Norge.
