This incident focuses on the importance of the selection of well design and the need to be ready for the unexpected. Are you ready for the unexpected?

The incident was published May 2011. Presentation of the incident is attached both in Norwegian and English.

The key message is to focus on what can be learnt from such events. It is hoped that sharing of such incidents will be helpful in our efforts to avoid or reduce the likelihood and severity of well incidents. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated by the task force.
