Dates for this year’s collective pay talks

This year’s negotiations on the collective pay agreements handled by Offshore Norge begin next week, with the offshore agreements leading the way on 3 May. Talks for oil service employees follow in 8 May.

After a brief strike in April, the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) reached agreement with the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) and the Confederation of Vocational Unions (YS) on a 5.2 per cent growth in annual pay for 2023.

This financial framework for the lead sector will now provide guidance for subsequent settlements. Only pay increases are up for negotiation this year.

3 May: The offshore agreements for employees at operator, drilling and catering companies.
8 May: The oil and well service agreements for personnel at oil service companies.
