The talks will be conducted at industry level, which involves a full revision of all the agreements. About 19 00 unionised workers are covered by the negotiations.

23-25 May                      Land agreements

6-8 June                           Oil service agreements (OSA)

Owing to the tragic helicopter accident at Turøy, the start of this year’s talks has been delayed. They are now set to get going. Negotiations will be pursued with the Norwegian Union of Industry and Energy Workers (Industry Energy) and Parat on the land base agreements, and with Industry Energy and  the Norwegian Union of Energy Workers (Safe) for the land agreements.

Talks on the offshore agreements will be conducted with Industry Energy, Safe and the Norwegian Organisation of Managers and Executives, and on the oil service agreements with Industry Energy and Safe.

Negotiations over the offshore and oil service agreements primarily cover workers employed offshore. The offshore agreements apply to operator, drilling and catering companies, while the oil service agreements cover workers both offshore and on land in oil service companies.

News updates are continuously posted to the  Pay talks 2016 section of the Norwegian Oil and Gas website.
