Dear colleagues;
The past days have been unreal. The tragic accident with a helicopter just off Turøy has regretfully taken away 13 beloved and respected colleagues. The whole industry stands together in these dark situation. The Norwegian Oil and Gas Association therefore appeal to all our members to take part in honoring and commomorate those who lost their lives by one minute of silence Monday May 2nd at 13:00 CET.
This commemoration is taking place in understanding with the companies involved in the accident.
A similar appeal to take part will be sent out by The Federation of Norwegian Industries, The Norwegian Shipowners Association and NHO Air Industri Association. The unions, Industri Energi, SAFE, Fellesforbundet, Lederne, Tekna and Nito are also taking part.
