Mediation concerning the oil service and well service agreements is taking place this weekend, June 13–14.

Late Thursday night, 5 June, mediation in the offshore pay settlement for around 8,000 offshore employees resulted in an agreement with the unions Styrke, Safe, and Lederne. A strike has therefore been avoided.

Offshore Norway and the trade union Styrke failed to reach agreement on a new collective agreement for supply base employees.

12.05.26 Pay talks in oil services ended without agreement

Offshore Norway were unable to reach an agreement with the trade union Styrke and Safe two days of negotiations on the identical collective agreements covering approximately 7.200 employees in the supplier industry.

11.05.26 Pay talks under way for oil service employees

On Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 May, Offshore Norway negotiate with the trade union Styrke on the Oil Service Agreement, and with the Norwegian Union of Energy Workers (Safe) on the Well Services Agreement.
